Visualizing the spine and spine disorders
25.05.2022 19:00 CET

First of all do not forget!

To register for the meeting please do fill the form.

Seeing is believing. Actually some people have to touch to believe.

Though the spine is quite obscure in clinical examination only spinal processes can be palpated and in slender people the vertebral bodies can be touched in the neck and through the abdomen.

Therefore often we have to refer to techniques that help us visualize the spine.

During this meeting we will explore the most common techniques for visualizing the spine.

The aim is to gain the skills that allow you to read independently the radiological studies X-ray, MRI, CT.

You will also be provided with some anonymized cases to work on your own.

It will be essential for the next meetings.

To be prepared for the meeting please download any DICOM viewer app that can be found on the internet.

We will be using Radiant which is dedicated for Windows but can be used on iOS.

In case you have trouble mounting it on iOS you can use other freeware or shareware application i.e. Horos.

See you on Wednesday!
